Accessory thoracodorsal artery.

F A Saadeh.

Abstract

A case of an accessory thoracodorsal artery is described. The vessel arose from the first part of the axillary artery just distal to the origin of the lateral thoracic artery. A regular thoracodorsal artery was present as a terminal branch of the subscapular artery. Pertinent literature on the thoracodorsal artery is reviewed.
