Abstract
A sandwich ELISA method has been developed for typing bloodstains for the G1m(3) allotype, using a commercial monoclonal reagent. The method is more sensitive than haemagglutination-inhibition methods, giving good results with plasma and with bloodstain extracts diluted 1 in 10 000, and provides an objective assessment of results. In its present form, however, it is not suitable for saliva and semen typing.Mesh:
