Training social workers to work with the terminally ill.

Working with dying patients and their families may be some social workers' most emotionally difficult challenge. The seminar described here was designed to heighten social workers' awareness of their own feelings about dying and to sensitize them to the emotions and needs of patients and families confronting death.
