Abstract
A fraction from a boiled scallop extract modified by a sonication procedure exhibited marked antitumor activity when it was injected intradermally into either ICR or C3H/He mice that had been given sc implants of sarcoma 180 and Ehrlich carcinoma. The active moiety was heat-stable and noncytotoxic. In contrast, preparations from raw scallop showed lower antitumor activity and were heat-labile.Entities:
