Abstract
A case of acute spinal subdural hematoma is reported in a 24-year-old woman. Presentation occurred in the postpartum period, 4 days following epidural anesthesia. Emergency decompressive laminectomy attained partial recovery. Subsequent pathology demonstrated evidence of a low-grade ependymoma. Reported cases of spinal subdural hematomas are reviewed and compared with the characteristics of this unique case.Entities:
