Traumatic aneurysm of the supraclinoid internal carotid artery: report of a case.

Abstract

A case of traumatic aneurysm of the supraclinoid internal carotid artery is presented. Formation of the aneurysm was thought to be due to a direct injury to the wall of the internal carotid artery from a basal skull fracture of the anterior cranial fossa.
