Abstract
New developments in anaesthesiology include: Preoperative analysis of the patients' risk, evaluation and treatment of preexisting illnesses in an increasing number of risk patients. The intraoperative use of a combination of different anaesthetic procedures, and an individually adapted monitoring. The postoperative surveillance, correction therapy in the recovery unit, continuation of treatment with improved intensive care methods.Entities:
