Abstract
Endoscopic vesicourethral suspension is an acceptable procedure for the treatment of true stress urinary incontinence, and is associated with a high success rate and little morbidity. Endoscopic vesical neck suspension was performed in 60 patients, with cure of the incontinence in 49 (82 per cent). A higher success rate was achieved in patients without a prior hysterectomy and/or surgical procedure to correct incontinence. Abnormalities on urodynamic testing may be somewhat suggestive of outcome. However, these studies cannot be used to predict success or failure.Entities:
