Abstract
A severe pyometra was found in a typical case of anorexia nervosa, with the latter illness apparently precipitated by the former. Compulsory alimentation before and after operation brought some weight gain as well as reversal of dilated cerebral sulci and hypothyroidism, though hypothalamo-pituitary dysfunction persisted.Entities:
