Double vertebral artery in an Indian cadaver.

Abstract

Double vertebral artery arising from the first part of the right subclavian artery was found in one of the 80 cadavers. The course and characteristics of the artery are described highlighting the possible applied importance in certain clinical and surgical conditions.
