Abstract
The stair-step flap is a simple one-stage replacement of alar tissue with excellent viability, minimal "biscuiting" and notching, and good color and texture match. While not replacing other techniques of alar repair, it appears to be a significant addition to the armamentarium for reconstruction in this area.Mesh:
