Neurinoma of the spinal accessory nerve. A case report.

I Nishiura, T Koyama.

Abstract

A case of neurinoma of the spinal accessory nerve without evidence of von Recklinghausen's disease is described. The difference in the clinical symptoms and radiological findings between this tumour and a jugular foramen neurinoma is especially emphasized. Other cases in the world literature are also reviewed and the peculiarities of the tumour are discussed.
