Abstract
The excretion of amphetamine in human breast milk was studied in a nursing mother with narcolepsy, who was treated with 20 mg daily of a racemic preparation of amphetamine. The concentration of amphetamine was 3 and 7 times higher in breast milk than in maternal plasma on the 10th and 42nd days after delivery. Small amounts of amphetamine were found in urine samples from the infant.Entities:
