Abstract
Variations in the growth of animals from exposure to a magnetic field have been reported by several authors. In this study, young rats and mice were exposed daily to constant uniform magnetic fields. The strength of the field was 400, 600 or 800 mT. Rats were exposed for 4 weeks and mice for 250 d or more. Some mice were exposed in a permanent way to a non-uniform magnetic field of 4.6 mT. No significant effect on the growth was observed.Entities:
