Functional bladder neck obstruction in women.

J P Nørgaard, S Schwartz-Sørensen, J C Djurhuus.

Abstract

Symptoms of bladder neck dysfunction in the female are rarely encountered. In 5 females, i.e., 0.6% of the female patients referred for urodynamic investigation, we found parameters consistent with bladder neck dysfunction. Prolonged opening time, slow stream, but otherwise normal voiding reflexes were the main features.
