Papillomas of lacrimal drainage system: a clinicopathologic study.

Z A Karcioglu, D R Caldwell, H T Reed.

Abstract

This paper presents a clinicopathologic review of Schneiderian papillomas in the lacrimal drainage system, nasal cavity, and paranasal sinuses. The embryologic, histopathologic, and clinical aspects of these lesions are discussed. A more practical classification for the papillomas of the lacrimal drainage system, offering a better understanding of their histogenesis and an easy follow-up system, is proposed.
