Abstract
We report two cases of osteomyelitis secondary to staphylococcal septicaemia, presenting with large sterile effusions in adjacent joints. In both cases the clinical features were suggestive of septic arthritis. Multiple joints were involved in each patient. Initial radiographs showed no abnormalities.Entities:
