[Quantitative studies of the "cleared out intervertebral disk space" following nucleotomies].

B Hausmann, R Forst.

Abstract

Operative removal of prolapsed intervertebral disk's tissue combined with nucleotomy represents nowa days a routine operative treatment. It is left to the surgeon to clear out - more ore less totally - the intervertebral disk interspace. It can be proved, that based on operation site's anatomy and the disposal instrumentarium the total "clear out" of intervertebral tissue doesn't succeed.
