Abstract
A case of sudden deafness with vertigo shortly before death is reported in a patient with disseminated adenocarcinoma of the breast. Examination of the temporal bones revealed extensive perilymphatic hemorrhage as the probable cause of the deafness. The pathophysiology of deafness due to inner ear hemorrhage is discussed.Entities:
