Abstract
An aldosterone-producing adenoma (APA) was associated with chronic renal failure. Following treatment with Trilostane (a 3 beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase inhibitor), furosemide and continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD), a left adrenal adenoma was successfully removed. This patient, still being treated with CAPD, is a unique example of primary aldosteronism without showing suppressed plasma renin activity.Entities:
