Abstract
An insulin-dependent diabetic patient with liver abscess secondary to Yersinia enterocolitica without septicemia is described. He had the diagnosis established by transhepatic needle aspiration of the abscess cavity. Successful management was accomplished with antibiotic therapy alone.Entities:
