Abstract
Ballistic and dystonic involuntary movements occurring at the beginning and end of the period of levodopa efficacy are described in nine patients exhibiting dyskinesis during long-term levodopa therapy. In contrast to classical abnormal interdose movements, these biphasic dyskinesias were reduced by increasing and fractionating the daily doses of levodopa.Entities:
