Congenital duplication of the stomach: case report and review of the English literature.

Abstract

A case of gastric duplication in an adult is reported with review of the English literature concerning the clinical aspects of this rare anomaly including age, sex, location, clinical presentation, associated anomalies, and treatment. The most popular embryological theories as to the origin of gastric duplication are discussed.
