Abstract
A two-step technique for laser iridectomy in light blue irises is described, which simplifies penetration of these irises and allows success rates approaching 100%. Step one utilizes a high energy, long duration, predominantly thermal laser burn that destroys overlying iris stroma. In step two, the laser energy is reduced and exposure time is shortened to facilitate removal of remaining pigment epithelium.Entities:
