A geriatric visual concern: the need for publishing guidelines.

J B Ralph.

Abstract

Millions of people have difficulty reading printed materials. These people are handicapped because of their visual problems and limitations are not considered by editors in their choice of type size, color, and other elements. This paper discusses the extent of this discrimination, and suggests guidelines for concerned editors and publishers to follow to provide for the needs of these people.
