Abstract
Malignant otitis externa developed in a 55-year-old man with diabetes. This Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection was refractory to high-dose moxalactam disodium therapy, despite sufficient in vitro tube dilution sensitivity results. When adjunctive hyperbaric oxygen therapy was added to the treatment regimen, the infection resolved.Entities:
