Abstract
The oscillatory phenomena which occur in metabolic processes are of great interest to chemists and biologists for a better understanding of far-from-equilibrium behavior that exists in biological systems. In this paper, we present a model for metabolic oscillations in a vesicular compartment and show how oscillations of the components involved in an energy transducing system may arise from our model under certain external conditions.Mesh:
