Colour presentation of radiologic images.

A technique is described for conversion of black and white fluoroscopic images into colour. The advantages of this technique were investigated with the aid of slides. Although the colour yield in slides is not perfect, this method was chosen because it gives a reproducible image. Lesions were recognized significantly better on colour slides than on black and white slides (p less than 0.02).
