Abstract
Quantitative methods for electroencephalographic assessment of vigilance must be oriented along certain principal sign patterns on the one hand, and must also take into account the dynamics of vigilance on the other. The more differentiated the approach, the more efficient will the determination be. Such quantitative methods can supply us with on-target and detailed information on the structure and dynamics of the neural processes involved in the regulation of vigilance, over and above the information supplied via visual analyses.Mesh:
