Abstract
The authors describe three pediatric patients with diffuse pulmonary hemangiomatosis. Virtually identical clinical, radiographic, and pathologic findings were observed in each case. The combination of diffuse interstitial pulmonary infiltration and bloody pleural effusion in a child is pathognomonic. Early recognition of hemangiomatosis can allow more effective evaluation of therapeutic measures.Entities:
