Genetic transmission of the Rh positive and Duffy positive blood proteins: an observation.

Abstract

Linkage of genes may be noted when the concerned pairs reside on the same chromosome. Since the Rh and Duffy genes are located on chromosome one, a study of these traits in 614 Baltimore blacks indicated that the meiotic movement of these traits, within the level of experimental error, was demonstrated.
