The impact of post-weaning protein malnutrition on intraepithelial and Peyer's patch lymphocyte sub-types in rat small bowel.

N Lyscom, M J Brueton.

Abstract

Post-weaning protein malnutrition depresses rat small-bowel epithelial lymphocyte numbers and delays the development of MRCOX8+, W3/13-cells. It had no effect on the relative distribution of Peyer's patch lymphocyte sub-types.
