Abstract
An analysis was conducted of expressed reasons for the choice of a family practice residency by prospective residents. The nature and frequency of reasons are presented. An attempt was also made to judge the importance of saliency of specific reasons expressed. The results are discussed in relation to past studies and future directions for the training of family physicians.Mesh:
