Abstract
Stacking interactions were shown by spectroscopic and X-ray crystallographic studies to be formed between the tryptophan and the protonated 7-methylguanine derivatives. These interactions would be in part responsible for the specific interaction between the 5'-terminal capped structure of mRNA and its binding protein.Entities:
