Abstract
Customs in small isolated populations of Mexico are described which influence the prevalence of cysticercosis and Chagas' disease. People in some villages prefer the taste of pork harboring cysticerci. Certain triatomids are thought to have aphrodisiac properties and are therefore eaten.Entities:
