[Cervical myelopathy due to ossification of the posterior longitudinal ligament].

J J Feldmeyer, F Regli, N de Tribolet.

Abstract

A case is presented of cervical myelopathy with acute posttraumatic onset, due to ossification of the posterior longitudinal ligament. This disease is rare outside Japan. The progressive ossification appears to be secondary to multiple ankylosing degenerative discopathies.
