Abstract
Salivary flow-rate, Na, K and IgA were measured in 12 KCS patients for diagnosis of Sjögren's syndrome. 8 had elevated salivary IgA concentrations. The IgA was analysed on anti-IgA plates and on anti-secretory IgA plates. The results indicate that the elevation in salivary IgA in Sjögren patients is due to secretory IgA.Entities:
