Abstract
A unique fusion of liver and spleen was observed at autopsy between a tongue of hepatic parenchyma and the superolateral aspect of the spleen in an adult Caucasian male. No instance of hepatolineal fusion was found in the literature, prompting this report. An embryologic explanation is offered.Entities:
