Action potentials in non-tumor cells from the anterior pituitary gland.

S Ozawa, O Sand.

Abstract

Non-tumor cells of rat anterior pituitary gland are able, upon electrical stimulation, to generate action potentials which are based on an increase of the membrane permeability to both Na+ and Ca2+.
