Abstract
A living related kidney transplant recipient with normal renal functioning and hypertension secondary to renal artery stenosis was treated with captopril and developed reversible granulocytopenia. Complications caused by captopril, an angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor, have been reported previously in hypertensive patients with systemic lupus erythematosus or with renal artery stenosis after renal transplantation. It is recommended that this drug be used with caution in this setting.Entities:
