Anaesthesia for Shy-Drager syndrome.

Abstract

Anaesthesia for nephrectomy in a patient with Shy-Drager syndrome is described. The potential problems and pre-, per- and postoperative management are discussed with particular reference to the monitoring of cardiovascular function by pulmonary artery catheterisation.
