Gluteal and thigh reduction: reclassification, critical review, and improved technique for primary correction.

A technique for combined gluteal and thigh reduction is described, which produces a smooth lateral contour and improved buttock shape, with reduced operative time, less pain, and a lower complication rate. To date 22 patients have had gluteal and thigh reduction employing this technique, with a high degree of patient satisfaction.
