Abstract
The case is reported of a patient who presented with panhypopituitarism simultaneously with sphenoid sinusitis due to Aspergillus fumigatus. Despite the absence of radiologically demonstrable suprasellar or intrasellar lesions, and without visible bone destruction, the authors conclude on the possibility of a pituitary lesion by contiguity. The pathogenic mechanisms are discussed.Entities:
