Abstract
Neonatal lupus erythematosus is an uncommon type of lupus that in addition to cutaneous lesions may have systemic involvement. It is generally a benign condition unless complicated by complete heart block, which is irreversible and which carries a high mortality rate in the first year of life. Patients' mothers often show clinical and/or laboratory features of connective tissue diseases.Entities:
