Abstract
The segmental pancreatic allograft transplantation is effective in the treatment of diabetes mellitus and a technically simple operation, but it may bring about many complications. Important for a normally transplantation function is its adequate blood supply. The arterial and venous system in 60 human caudal pancreatic segments are examined with angiographic. 4 different arterial types of supply and the differences in the arterial and venous system are described. All pancreatic segments would have been appropriated for transplantation.Entities:
