Abstract
A 25-year-old patient presented with Salmonella enteritidis gastroenteritis and coexistent pelvic abscess caused by the same organism. After a failed trial of parenteral antibiotics, she underwent surgical therapy. S enteritidis is now documented as a specific agent in pelvic infection.Entities:
