Abstract
The results of keratoplasty à chaud in 49 eyes are reported. None of the eyes had to be enucleated. In 43% the transplant remained clear. The prognosis was best in cases of bacterial or fungal ulcers, provided that vascularization did not involve more than one quadrant. The results are compared with those of other authors who recommend the use of tissue adhesives first and only perform corneal grafting some months later.Entities:
