Abstract
A transparent embedding method is described which enables blood vessels to be visualized in the organs of experimental animals. The circulatory system is perfused with a mixture of fixatives, latices and a pigment. The tissue is embedded in a solid plastic with an appropriate refractory index. The method allows the scoring of blood vessel abnormalities in thick sections. It may also be of use for quantitative histology and the localization of electrodes in thick sections.Entities:
