Abstract
Three cases of strangulated obturator hernia are presented, two of them treated with a new method in which the urinary bladder wall was used to cover the hernial orifice. The literature is reviewed and the importance of early diagnosis and operation is stressed. The symptoms often are nonspecific, and if surgery is delayed the mortality is high.Entities:
