A depression technique of the epidermal Langerhans cell in cadaver split skin.

The epidermal Langerhans cell plays a crucial role in the rejection of allograft split skin. Ultraviolet B radiation and glucocortico -steroid incubation of viable cadaver allograft split skin depress the Langerhans cell. Results of a depressing technique are reported.
